Daniel Pardo
Teacher, Piano
Daniel started playing the piano when he was 7 years old, his mother is a piano teacher, and she taught him the basics of piano playing. Daniel comes from Santiago, Chile, where he learned most of his piano skills as a classical pianist.
Daniel studied classical piano for a whole year at the Universidad Mayor Conservatory where he studied pieces by composers such as Frederick Chopin, Franz Liszt, and Bach. Daniel has experience working as a teacher at the American Preparatory Academy in West Valley, Utah, where he taught piano lessons to young students of ages 6 – 12. Currently Daniel is pursuing the bachelor’s degree in Commercial Music with emphasis in Piano Performance at Snow College, under the guide of Kyle James Alm. During his studies at Snow College, he has performed with several different groups such as jazz combos, commercial music ensembles like Studio Blue, and an extracurricular Latin band that focuses on salsa and merengue tunes.
On his free time, he loves hiking, as well as spending time with family and friends doing barbeques on holidays.
