Andrew’s musical journey began when he joined the beginning band at Ephraim Middle School in 2004 where he played trumpet for two years. While in high school, he learned to play the guitar and started playing music with friends. Years later, in 2023, he began studying music education at Snow College; focusing on drums and percussion.

Andrew enjoys many styles of music, but loves heavy metal most of all. He has always found inspiration from the music his uncle John would play while he was young. For Andrew, music is all about connection.

Andrew also has two young children: Rohan (6) and Esme (4). He enjoys spending time with his family as well as a good many other activities such as skateboarding and rock climbing. He is passionate about what he does and excited to serve his hometown as a music educator.
