Rachel Wetzel

Teacher, Voice, Guitar, Piano

Rachel is a talented 21-year-old performer with a passion for both music and theater. Hailing from a small town, she grew up immersed in the world of performing arts, earning state titles for her classical scenes and musical theater performances throughout high school. Rachel's vocal versatility shines through her roles in productions like West Side Story (Maria) and Pippin (Leading Player).

Now in her fourth year at Snow College in the Commercial Music Program, Rachel has expanded her skill set as both a performer and educator. She’s been featured as Belinda in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas (opera), and serves as a lead vocalist for the school's rock band, Studio Blue. Rachel has also shared the stage with well-known artists including opening Peter Breinholt’s Christmas Concert with her original song, “Winter in Weyburn.” She also was coached by Christ Pierce, in the Singer-songwriter Rounds at Snow College.

Alongside her performance career, Rachel has dedicated the past seven years to teaching. She’s led summer singing lessons, musical theater camps, and pageants, helping students prepare for their own stage moments. Rachel is passionate about helping vocalists explore all aspects of their vocal potential, believing that it opens doors and fosters growth. She’s excited to bring her experience and enthusiasm to Skyline Music Studio, where she can continue to inspire and guide the next generation of performers.
